Vetiver Musc (2024) by Narciso Rodriguez is a modern “for him” fragrance that reinterprets the signature nasal musk?DNA of the brand, layering it over green woods, aromatic spices, and mineral elements. It aims to feel natural and fresh yet grounded — balancing earthiness, cleanliness, and slight sharpness in a versatile masculine scent.

Note Structure

Top notes: Cypress, Cardamom, Nutmeg — adds green, spicy sharpness and immediate clarity.

Heart (middle): Musk, Bourbon Geranium, Lavender, Frankincense, Red Algae — creamy musk signature softened by florals and a unique marine/ leathery texture from red algae, plus smoky resin from frankincense.

Base notes: Vetiver, Cedarwood, Patchouli — these create a woody, slightly earthy foundation that gives the scent its lasting depth and masculinity.

Evolution and Experience
On first spray you get the crisp green/spicy trio — cypress, cardamom, nutmeg — which feels bright, clean, slightly sharp. Very energizing. Then musk and florals (especially lavender + geranium) emerge, smoothing out the opening and adding warmth. Red algae adds an unusual aquatic/leathery twist that gives a mineral vibe. In the dry?down, the woods (vetiver, cedar, patchouli) take over with earthy tones, and the musk lingers, tying everything together into something woody yet soft and wearable.

Longevity and Projection
Longevity is good — you can expect ~6?8 hours depending on skin and environment. Projection is noticeable early on (top and heart phases), then settles closer to the skin while still leaving a clean trail especially when you move.
