Essence and Concept
Millésime Imperial (1995) by Creed captures the breezy luxury of the Mediterranean: sun, sea, citrus, and golden light. It’s designed to be both fresh and sumptuous — a fragrance that’s breezy and refined, balancing aquatic crispness with creamy woods and a sensual dry?down.

Note Structure

  • Top notes: Bergamot, Mandarin Orange, Sea Salt — citrusy brightness combined with an ozonic marine lift for a refreshing opening.

  • Heart (middle): Iris, Marine Accord — smooth floral from the iris blending with salty seawater tones, creating a salty?aqua heart.

  • Base notes: Sandalwood, Cedarwood, Musk — warm, woody creaminess with soft musk that lingers and smooths out the marine top layers.

Evolution and Experience
On first spray you get citrus and ocean?air: bright bergamot and mandarin blended with a hint of sea salt. It feels like a splash of cool water with sunlight. As it develops, the iris appears, giving a powdery floral nuance that softens the marine edge. The heart is airy, clean, lightly sweet, with a “salty breeze” feel. The dry?down brings in woods and musk: the scent becomes more comforting, creamy, with lingering warmth, soft sanding of the sweetness and sea into something refined.

Longevity and Projection
Moderate to good. It performs well especially early on, with a noticeable trail. As time passes it becomes more intimate but still perceptible. On clothes tends to last longer. Some wearers find its projection less powerful compared to richer, denser perfumes, but its elegance often compensates.
